Independent games. Many little worlds.

Independent games.
Electric energy.

Meet SENOVIRA, an arcade of MEST originals and credited open-source browser games, with practical English introductions and room to explore.

A place to find your next game

SENOVIRA brings together 80 games: 19 MEST originals and 61 credited open-source games. They range from a quiet office escape to a toy-kart race, a coastal delivery adventure and an evening behind a restaurant counter. The collection spans arcade, board games and logic puzzles.

SENOVIRA is a neon-lit arcade for independent browser games: one collection, different ways to play. You can browse by type of experience, look for a particular control style or save a game for another visit. No account or purchase is needed to use the collection.

A little context before you play

A screenshot can catch your eye; a useful introduction helps you decide. Every game page explains its objective, controls, starting advice, language and device orientation. The catalog is written in English. Games retain their own interfaces. Each listing identifies its language before loading.

We use actual game captures rather than unrelated promotional art. Covers show actual game captures: the MEST reference collection for the original games and official-release captures for the additions. Later game updates may change their appearance. The game’s own menu and instructions are the guide to the version currently running.

Your browser is the meeting place

Games run on separate official hosts, including Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages and chiark. Choosing Load game requests that separate host and displays it here. You can also open the original game directly. SENOVIRA does not host a shared player account or transfer progress between game origins.

Saved games are a convenience on this browser. They do not create a cloud profile, a leaderboard or an account. Our playing and saves notes explain the difference between saving a listing and saving a game’s progress.

Original games, credited components

The original 19 games are MEST’s works. Additional games credit mashukui or Simon Tatham and contributors and link their MIT licenses. This does not mean every engine, font, model or music track was made from scratch. Separately credited components keep their own licenses. Each listing links its source repository; Creator & credits explains the collection’s rights and the notices to consult.

The current site has no advertising or analytics integration. We do not display invented ratings, player counts or popularity charts. Featured selections introduce different kinds of play; they are not a ranking based on visitor statistics.

How we select and present games

We look for a playable browser release, a clear objective and enough information to explain its controls and identify its creator. MEST originals and independently developed open-source games have different rights models. A publicly readable repository alone does not establish an open-source license.

The current open-source additions credit mashukui or Simon Tatham and contributors and link their MIT notices. These creators retain their copyright. Inclusion does not imply their endorsement of SENOVIRA.

Guides and editorial choices

Our English guides explain the objective, input method, screen recommendation and a useful first move. Each listing identifies its game language; an English guide does not mean every game has English menus. The game’s own instructions describe the release currently running.

Featured selections introduce different experiences rather than claiming measured popularity. We do not invent review scores, player totals or rankings. Screenshots identify the named games and record a particular version and moment; later releases can look different.

Keeping the collection useful

Browser updates and external hosting changes can affect a game. We may revise a guide, replace a screenshot, correct attribution or remove an unavailable listing. Opening and input checks do not establish that every level, ending, phone or assistive setup has been tested.

Report a broken release, misleading control note, missing credit or access barrier through Contact. Start with Playing & saves for practical player guidance, or Creator & credits for source and component notices.
